Hallo Karien,
Eers wil ek en Basil Snr vir jou baie dankie se vir die baie moeite wat jy gedoen het met ons kind!!! Ons besef dat jy baie besig is en maar min tyd het om briefies te lees wat nie met die werk te doen het nie maar dis ons begeerte om ons opregte waardering teenoor jou en jou span uit te spreek. Hy het goed aangepas en BAIE vriende gemaak. Met sy studies gaan dit ook baie goed. Sy toetse is so tussen 80% en 95%. Hy het ook scuba diving as buitemuurse vak geneem en verlede naweek gekwalifiseer. Vir thanx giving en kersfees gaan hy na familie wat in Seattle bly. Dit lyk of hy die 10 Mei 2010 gaan huistoe kom en dan weer 18 Aug terug gaan. Ons skype gereeld met hom en dis altyd n stralende kind wat ek sien. Blessings vir jou en jou gesin !!!!

Dear Karien,
We wish to thank you sincerely for all that you have done for Basil. He has adapted very well to his new environment and made a lot of new friends. Academically he copes extremely well. Outside of his curriculum he did a scuba diving course which he enjoyed thoroughly. They went together with their instructor to a lake where they all qualified.

He will visit family of ours in Seattle during the week of thanksgiving as well as Christmas. He will be coming back to South Africa for a three month summer vacation on the 17 May. We "skype" him regularly and what a pleasure to see how happy and positive he is about his future in America.
